CDL Moffett Driver

Responsibilities:

• Pick up loads of material from our yards and deliver to other facilities or customers.
• Operate forklift to load trucks, as well as hand loading and unloading of building materials.
• Safely secure materials on the truck for delivery.
• Must drive vehicle and operate equipment in a safe manner.
• Operate Moffett to unload and load material at job sites.
• Fuel Truck, schedule maintenance and cleaning, trip inspections, and other routine DOT paperwork.
• Perform maintenance inspection prior to making deliveries.
• Comply with all DOT safety rules and procedures.

 

Knowledge & Skill Requirements: MOFFETT Experience required

• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Safely operate forklift, moffett and commercial vehicles.
• Must maintain required logbooks.
• Must keep a mileage log throughout the day and use the company provided radio or phone to contact dispatch of delivery completion.

 

Qualifications: High School Diploma

• Experience in lumber or construction industry.
• Must have a Clean Driving Record.
• Must have a clean valid Class A or B CDL from his or her state of residence.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to safely operate equipment in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be knowledgeable of FMCSA regulations.
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time. In addition, must be able to kneel, walk, bend, push, pull and reach.
