Responsibilities:

• The CDL Driver will pick up loads of material from yards and deliver to other facilities or to customers.
• The CDL Driver will operate forklifts to load trucks, as well as hand loading and unloading of building materials.
• The CDL Driver will safely secure the materials on the truck bed for delivery.
• The CDL Driver must drive vehicles and operate equipment in a safe manner.
• The CDL Driver will fuel truck, schedule maintenance and cleaning, trip inspections, and other routine DOT paperwork.
• The CDL Driver will perform maintenance inspection prior to making deliveries.
• Comply with all DOT safety rules and procedures.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements: MOFFETT Experience preferred Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively. Safely operate forklift and commercial vehicles.

• Must maintain required logbooks.
• Must keep a mileage log throughout the day and use the company provided radio or phone to contact dispatch of delivery completion.

Qualifications: High School Diploma Experience in lumber or construction industry. * Must have a Clean Driving Record.

• Must have a clean valid Class A or B CDL from his or her state of residence.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to safely operate equipment in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be knowledgeable of FMCSA regulations.
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time. In addition, must be able to kneel, walk, bend, push, pull and reach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
