ALL IN

This beautiful home in Branford, CT, was constructed almost entirely with products available at Northeast. Outside sales representative Tom Monk and Kitchen Center designer Norma Farinha worked with L&R Builders on the project.

Expansive windows from Lincoln Windows, decking and rails from Trex, and interior doors from Brosco give the homeowners amazing views of the waterfront and the adjacent golf course. Other building materials included siding from Hardie, Royal PVC trim, Roseburg IJ and LVL, and ZIP Systems roof and sidewall. Inside, the construction team used millwork from Garden State and cabinetry from Custom Wood Products.

SHAKE IT DOWN

Get the look of natural cedar shakes without the unattractive discoloring, streaking, and splitting with Beach House Shake. This high-performance cladding product is impervious to moisture and guaranteed to look great for 20 years.

Beach House Shake will look like the day it was installed years later without the costly maintenance required to keep natural cedar shingles from turning gray and black. Beach House Shake will resist salt spray, humidity, and snow and meets hurricane-zone standards for wind speed and impact resistance. Check out this Beach House Shake Time Machine video and see how cedar shingles age while Beach House Shake stays looking just like the day it was installed.

KITCHEN DESIGN TIPS

One of the new concepts in kitchen design is maximizing the space around your cooking surface. If you’re considering a kitchen remodel or are building a new home, making the most of the area adjacent to your cooktop can make the cooking experience more convenient and enjoyable.

Watch this video featuring designer Anthony Capua of Studio Northeast as he discusses the U-shaped concept that is becoming more common in many kitchens. The U-shape design features pull-out lower installations where cooking utensils, spices, and oils can be stored within easy reach of your stovetop. Call Studio Northeast to discuss your next project!
