SHARP IN SHERMAN, CT
Here’s the latest addition to our project galley. We worked with Beatty Construction Co on this home in Sherman, CT, to create a stunning new kitchen design.
Check out the Custom Wood Products cabinetry and beautiful island where the client used a deep green color. The project also features large Sierra Pacific windows finished in black trim on the outside and inside.

ENHANCING YOUR CABINETS
For many homeowners, staying within a budget is top of mind when considering a new kitchen design or a significant kitchen remodel. In a new video, Anthony Capua, one of our design experts, discusses ways clients can save money and still get the kitchen of their dreams.
Capua talks about incorporating another wood species or using a secondary cabinet color to add visual intrigue. The technique is particularly effective in islands or as accent pieces and will add pop while also reducing some costs, according to Capua.

Let’s welcome Todd Tingets to our Northeast team. Todd has joined the Inside Sales Team at Weed & Duryea and brings years of experience in the cabinetry business with him. Todd’s father worked for nearly 10 years for a couple of cabinet makers so Todd will be a great addition.
Todd says he enjoys working with customers and contractors on various projects but particularly enjoys working with clients who need outdoor decking and railing systems.
When he’s not working, Todd loves to boat, fish, and be outdoors!
